If Blockbuster adopted Redbox's payement policy and made everything a dollar a night for as long as you keep it, or maybe their regular prices for week-long rentals, I feel as if it would no longer matter that you can't set up Blockbuster kiosks in weird places like McDonalds. The tank-top wearing folk who see it as killing two enormous prehistoric birds with one stone by getting a Big Mac and Avatar in a single location will be all that's left to fend for RedBox. Blockbuster's relatively superior selection would, I think, override its conveience. Or, at least I hope it would. Going to RedBox makes me feel like I'm doing something cheap and dirty. The money they would lose by potentially charging less for movies would be made up for by the fact that more people would be swayed toward a place where there are more than two movies (three if you're lucky) that are actually worth choosing from for your dollar. Although, this is on the shakey assumption that people want to watch good movies. I mean, sure, they might have to downsize initially to make up for some lost money, but optimistically it would all make up for itself by crippling the major advantage RedBox has over it.
If someone asks you to detail their car, you have to expect at least one unfunny Karate Kid joke when they're giving you instructions.
I watched an episode of Dharma and Greg on youtube for some reason earlier.
